Question

Unable to log into my Basic account, no access to 2FA and recovery codes.

Hi,

I have had to create another account to create this query in the community.

I have a Basic account on another email address which has 2FA enabled. I never enabled 2FA and do not have the recovery keys. I'm unable to log back into my account.

Can someone please help as I need access to my account.

Thanks

Hi @styoda,

Since you don’t have your 2FA device or recovery codes, the only way to regain access is through Zoom Support. Basic accounts cannot reset 2FA on their own.

Steps to follow:

Go to Zoom Support
and submit a ticket.

Provide proof of account ownership (email address, recent meeting IDs, or billing info if available).

Explain that 2FA was never enabled by you, and you cannot access recovery codes.

Zoom Support can verify your identity and help disable 2FA so you can log in again.

I have the same issue - I have logged in with another email address - I have gone to zoom support but cannot submit a ticket because I only only a basic account.  Where next?
