Name on Zoom is Different from my Account

I am having an issue when joining a Zoom meeting with my name not being correct. My daughter used my computer for Zoom meetings for her school and now when I go into a meeting, the name on the screen is my daughter's instead of mine. This happens whenever I am in a browser and click "launch meeting," however, when I click on support, it shows my account and my name.  How can I completely logout of my daughter's account so it doesn't automatically link to hers? This is frustrating that I can't talk to a physical person who works with Zoom to figure this out.

Hi @raqigorman, thank you for posting for the first time!

 

My suggestion would be to first log out of zoom.us/profile as well as the Zoom desktop client (app). Once you have logged out of both the web browser and the app, please log back in. 

To change your display name: 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
  2. Click your profile picture, then click Settings.
  3. Click Profile.
    Note: You can also click My Profile, which will open a new web browser window where you can edit your name in the Zoom web portal.
  4. Click Edit My Profile.
    A new web browser window will appear, directing you to the Zoom web portal.
  5. Edit your profile in the Zoom web portal.

I am having this issue today. I have changed my name in zoom profile to what I want it to be and I have completely rebooted since then so I have definitely re-logged in to all my applications. I start the meeting by clicking on the link in my calendar, and the meeting comes up and the name it has for me is not correct. I need to manually change it in every meeting I join.
