I pay monthly and for a year. What to do?

Hi I have just learned that I pay montly and once a year. That must be a mistake. Now I want to cancel the montly payment. But it seems that when I cancel that I lost my account. The payment per year is not listed in my account. What can I do? I do not want to pay double times? Than you for your help.
