I am now retired from company that held workplace account.How can I change my account to the free BASIC plan, which I use infrequently?

If you are no longer part of your company's Zoom Workplace account and want to switch your account to the free Basic plan, you'll need to ensure your account is no longer associated with the company’s paid account. Here’s what you can do:

  • If your account is still under the company’s management, you’ll need to request to be removed from their account. Once removed, your account will revert to a free Basic plan automatically.
  • If you already have control of your account and it’s not linked to any organization, you don’t need to take any further action—your account will remain on the Basic plan if there is no active paid subscription.

If you currently have a paid subscription under your own account and want to downgrade to Basic, you can cancel your paid plan. After the current billing period ends, your account will automatically switch to the free Basic plan.
