Can't share AI Summary

I want to share the AI meeting summary however the share button is disabled and says to enable email notifications. I've checked my email notifications and believe they are turned on.  Is there a specific notification setting that must be on? If so what is it? I can't find anything in the help information.

I am having this exact same issue! It would be so helpful to have a hyperlink when it says "enable email notifications".

Still no resolution. Specific guidance on the exact setting(s) that need to be turned on should be part of the documentation for this feature, feels halfbaked. And I shouldn't have to wait a month for any sort of official guidance. We are still blocked, folks are copy/pasting the notes into emails.

Would love for someone from zoom to look at this to give us a solution.

It won't even let me copy/paste, except in pieces according to its headings. More trouble than it's worth do that.

This post has been deleted.

To my knowledge, all email notificaiton settings are enabled.  Thats the problem it looks like a bug with some settings working together.

I am having the same problem, has anyone found a way to fix this?

You can print to PDF. Far from ideal but easier than copying and pasting each section.

Hello there!

I'm sorry the late response!

When your meeting’s over, AI Companion will email you the meeting summary. Sharing the summary is easy — you can manually email it to whomever you choose, or adjust your settings to automatically send summaries to all participants.

To enable or disable Meeting Summary with AI Companion for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the AI Companion tab.
  4. Under Meeting, click the Meeting Summary with AI Companion toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Automatically start Meeting Summary for all meetings I host to have meeting summary generation automatically start for meetings you host.
Note: This does not require the host to be present, as the Meeting Summary generation will begin as soon as someone starts your meeting.
    • (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon

, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
  6. (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Include the full summary text in the email sent to users to send the full summary as part of the email to appropriate recipients. If disabled, a link will be sent instead, which opens the summary through the web portal and requires authentication before viewing.
    • (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon

, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
  7. Under the Share summary with section, select Only me (meeting host), Only myself (meeting host) and meeting invitees in our organization, or All meeting invitees including those outside of our organization.
Note: Meeting invitees only includes participants that were originally invited to the meeting, as participants joining the meeting ad hoc (through the in-meeting contact invitation or sharing the join link) will not receive the summary.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Kindly update your app to the latest version and you can read more in this article

This doesn't solve my problem. We have the AI companion set up for some time but we can't share using the setting only by manually copying and pasting, which is a huge waste of time.  We don't want summaries to automatically go out as people do need to review prior to sending.

What setting must be enabled to allow sharing? It is still disabled...  Please give me some advice on my specific issue.

And I highly suggest if settings are disabled due to other settings you include links to those specific settings and information on what to change to enable. This shouldn't take months to resolve a basic question for a new feature launch. Very disappointed in Zoom support and product feature release process.

So your ideal workflow is review and edit the existing meeting AI summary. Once reviewed you want the edited meeting summary to go out to people with one click without having to copy and paste chunks of texts as that is manual and time consuming. There are several Zoom apps including Salepager that lets you edit and share the edited AI summary post meeting without copy and pasting.
