AI Meeting Summary icon doesn't appear

I can't get AI Meeting Summary to work with my Zoom meetings. The Meeting Summary and/or AI Companion icon never appears.

Our license is for Zoom Workplace Business and I have confirmed that AI Companion is included in this license. 

 

I have tried

  • turning on and off Meeting Summary automatically in settings. 
  • I have tried this with Scheduled meetings and with impromptu meetings
  • While creating a scheduled meeting, under the options section, I do not have a Meeting Summary option
  • I have tried turning on every AI Companion option available
  • I have tried creating completely new meetings after every change to test. 
  • All my tests are in the most up to date Zoom Workplace app (version 6.2.3)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

Unfortunately, Zoom Business is not included in the prerequisite for AI Summary. 

The prerequisites for enabling and disabling Zoom Meeting Summary are:

  • A Zoom Pro, Zoom One Business, Zoom One Business Plus, Zoom One Enterprise, Zoom One Enterprise Plus, or Enterprise Bundle account
    Note: AI Companion may not be available for select verticals and select regional customers.
  • Account owner, admin privileges, or any custom role that has access to modify Account Settings

Note: Using the AI Companion Meeting Summary feature requires being a Licensed user on these account types.

Thank you for the quick response. I have an image that I can't upload. It shows that I do have the AI Companion as part of my current business plan. Can you please let me know what the AI Companion can be used for with my Zoom Workplace Business license?

Hello @fcadminJHC,

I'm sorry for the late response.

What you previously had was access to some AI Companion features such as for Zoom Team Chat Compose on an interim basis. Since you have already upgraded your account you should be able to have the full Zoom AI Companion features.
