Microphone not working although privacy permission is given

I've tried all the suggested steps, and my speaker itself is fine.

    Let's try some additional troubleshooting steps. 

    1. Have you tried restarting the device?

    2. If you still experience this issue after restarting the device, have you tried testing any other video conferencing applications?

    This problem has persisted after restarting my pc and after deleting and then downloading zoom again. I have no other video conferencing apps.
