Alternate Host can start mtg but not chat
Two alternate hosts (AHs) can start meetings, but only one of them can chat with the participants first. The other one has to ask all the participants to send a chat first before the AH can chat with them.
Both AHs use the same meeting link sent by the Host, and they use Windows laptops. Their sign in processes are the same.
The AH who cannot chat first until participants start the chat has tried signing in and out of the meeting which they started: on the main work laptop, on a different laptop, and on an Samsung Galaxy S23 Android phone.
They've tried logging in using the desktop app and the web app on the laptops and the Android mobile app and web app on the mobile phone. The version of the desktop app is one version behind the mobile app. Because only one AH has a problem, it doesn't appear to be the version number.
What else can they try to turn on the ability to chat first?
