Whiteboard: Pen tool: How to use the color picker?

I can't get the color-picker tool to work on the whiteboard. I can add custom colors using the palette provided under the Pen tools menu. However, when I select the color-picker tool (also on the palette menu), I'm allowed to go through the motions of selecting a pixel on the screen, but no custom color is added to menu. What am I missing?

[Zoom v6.5.0, Desktop App on a PC]

Oh, I see the issue now, @barncro. I just checked with the team. We are aware of this issue and the fix is already in place. Please try again soon after Zoom Whiteboard 1.31.0 is released! For now, please use the process in my clip or directly inputting RGB values as alternatives. Thanks for the report and happy using Zoom Whiteboard!

Thank you Shein! I can confirm the process shown in that video works on my end as well.

I'm after a slightly different function, however. On that same menu panel is a little "eye dropper" icon that, when clicked, should allow me to directly sample the color-value of a pixel on the screen. When I try to use this function, I am allowed to select a pixel, but no new color is generated on the palette.

Has anyone else encountered this bug?
