Playing around with Whiteboard for the first time. Seems like an OK alternative to Mural, but lacks at least one important feature: locking artifacts. It seems like you can either lock the whole whiteboard or nothing. You need in between controls to lock backgrounds and other artifacts that you don't want touched. Please include in you future release! (Hopefully soon...)

Hi @fmladineo ! Thank you for sharing this idea! At this time, all feature requests are managed within our https://zoom.us/feed submission form. We encourage you to submit this idea there, where the information will then be passed along to the relevant product team for review 🙂

Yes this would be a fantastic feature. There would be so many use cases it would open up!

This feature is now available as of the Feb 26 release. You can check out the release notes or experiment with the feature by clicking an object (or group of objects) and selecting the "Lock" icon.
