Zoom AI Companion2024-05-07 11:05 PM - edited 2024-05-12 10:41 PM
I'm using a recent version of Zoom (Zoom Workspace).
In my meetings I use whiteboards with animated GIF images and embedded YouTube movies, which play fine during the meetings. I also record the meetings to the cloud and then the GIF animations and YouTube videos are frozen images (So I do play them in the meetings, but they don't play in the recordings!)
I suppose this a bug in Zoom recording/whiteboards, or is something wrong with my settings?
Thank you!

This issue is very, very annoying and therefore I will ask the same question again with a little more details.
The problem below occurs with Zoom version 6.1.
I set up meetings while using a whiteboard during the meeting. In the whiteboard I embed media, which can be a YouTube video or simply a website. This works great DURING the meeting. Problems arise in the (cloud) recordings of the meeting:
Any embedded video or website is not shown in the recordings, but instead only appears as the default and static 'embedding image'. This is extremely annoying. While my voice is talking about the embedded contents, the recordings only show the static image.
I'm baffled that this is still not working as it should!
Now, is this due to a wrong setting of mine, or does this require a fix in the Zoom software?
Thank you!
