Zoom Pro says that it supports 'Social media streaming'. I want to do this, but cannot find any guidance or training on how to stream either notices of events or recordings of events.

You need to open "live streaming" for meetings and webinar in the Admin settings.  Then you can stream to either FB or YouTube.  Or you can livestream to RTMP and from there the  other\multiple platforms.

They do indeed hide the info about it.
But, I noticed that at the very bottom of the screen after you create a new meeting they have included the following instructions.

Live Streaming

After starting the meeting, click "More" and choose the service on which to live stream your meeting. The services indicated below support live streams of your meetings:
  • Facebook
  • Workplace by Facebook
  • YouTube
  • Twitch
