Invitations to zoom calls by spammers

Anyone else getting invitations to zoom calls from spammers?

This used to happen a lot to me on other platforms, but it seems that they have now moved to Zoom instead!

At least on the other platform it was very easy to report it as spam - but I don't see that here - and the Zoom support AI bot can't handle it !! If anyone knows how to reach a human at Zoom HQ to flag this stuff, please let me know...

Here's the title of the latest one I've received:

    Hello @YARB

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

If you encounter any spam, scams, abusive behavior, or content, please report them using this link: https://zoom.us/trust-form.

Thank you and have a good day.

Hmm. You seem to misunderstand the problem.

    Let me try again:

    1. We receive unsolicited email with an invitation to a webinar. Please note the "unsolicited" part of that. We did not register for that webinar.

    2. We do not have any way to unsubscribe or report this as spam. Gotowebinar does have this option.

    3. We are asking you to fix this lack of a feature.

Several people have asked for this for months, if not years. Here is a link from last year: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Events-and-Webinars/Invitations-to-zoom-calls-by-spammers/m-p/212604.

There are plenty more examples of this. All you need to do is search for spam webinars and you will find several threads.

We, as users, want you, as the provider, to offer a report-spam option to Zoom. Or, we would settle for unsubscribing from a particular invitation. The one I received today is from noreply-zoomevents. I would add a screenshot, but I do not have permission to upload images.

I have no way of unsubscribing from this email. Nor can I report it to you as spam.

That is the problem we want Zoom to fix.

If I have been unclear, maybe you can try your beloved AI Companion to translate my wording into something you can understand.

I send all emails coming from GoToWebinar to the SPAM folder and I hope I won't have to do that with Zoom.

This is a copy of the headers as I see them with myEmailAddress removed. Would it help to see the whole email?

That's my issue, too. Right now I have Zoom whitelisted, but if I have to move them to junk, Ima have to find a new solution, too.

I have also been receiving spam webinar registration confirmations, for webinars that I never registered for and there is no way to report it. Furthermore, there is no topic in your Help or Support to report it or find out what to do, which is appalling!

    Hello Community Members,

Thank you for your patience and continued support—we truly value your feedback.

We're excited to announce the rollout of our enhanced unsubscribe experience. For lower-tier webinar licenses, all webinar-related emails will now include an unsubscribe link at the bottom. With a single click, recipients can immediately unsubscribe from all webinar communications associated with that Zoom account.

If you change your mind, you’ll have the option to resubscribe right from the confirmation page—making the process quick and seamless.

To help us maintain a trusted email experience, please continue reporting any spam senders via the following link: https://zoom.us/trust-form.

Thank you for being a part of our community as we work to improve your Zoom experience.

Thank you. it's a start but still doesn't help much because the spammers just keep adding to the list and continue spamming. You need to KNOW WHO the spammers are so you can ban their accounts. You need to add a 'REPORT SPAM' to the emails too. for your reference here are some emails of the spammer to help you do your job.

All they need to do is add a button to report and unsubscribe!  Shouldn't be so hard.

If you can redesign the zoom workspace constantly you can add a Report Spam to the emails.

Yes, spam Zoom invites do happen sometimes. The best step is to adjust your Zoom settings so only trusted contacts can send invites, and also report the meeting ID directly to Zoom Support so they can block the spammer.

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to do this exact thing (Google led me here!) The unsubscribe and report spam feature doesn’t work as I’ve done this multiple times for the same spammer.
