How to restrict only selected users to join webinar meeting?

Currently I am trying to find a way on how to restrict only users who purchased a session can join the webinar. I have tried using the 
 
POST
/webinars/{webinarId}/registrants

 

But it seems that everyone can join the webinar, can anyone help me with this issue? Thank you in advance
