Give members access to just one session in a multi-session event?

We are using Zoom Events for our upcoming hybrid multi-day conference. Within that Conference we will have our AGM. 

Our attendees for the Conference have registered and paid to attend via a different platform - not Zoom Events.

Most of our attendees will be in person. But we will have a few attending the online version of the Conference. 

However, for the AGM session, we want to open it up to all of our members, including those who have not registered for the rest of the Conference. We only want them to access that particular session via Zoom online. 

How can we share them the link for that session, without giving them free access to the rest of the Conference that others have paid for?

To give all members access to your AGM while keeping the rest of your paid conference sessions secure.
Here are a few easy ways to do that:

Option 1: Separate Zoom Meeting/Webinar (Recommended)

• Set up a standalone Zoom meeting or webinar just for the AGM

• Schedule it outside your main Zoom Events conference

• Share the unique link only with members who should join
  Why this works: Clear separation means no risk of members accidentally accessing paid content.

Option 2: Zoom Events Hub

• Create a dedicated Zoom Event for the AGM

• Offer free registration just for members

• Use a separate event link so it stays distinct from the paid conference

• You can run both events at the same time, but they’ll remain independent

Option 3: Registration Management

• Add a special “AGM-only” registration tier in your main Zoom Event

• Restrict access so this group can only join the AGM session

• Share registration codes or special links for members

• Use session-level permissions to keep everything in check

Next Steps:

• Send your members an AGM-specific link with clear instructions

• Test access before the event to make sure everything works smoothly

• Have a moderator ready to remove any unexpected attendees, just in case

Extra Security Tips:

• Use waiting rooms to screen participants

• Require registration, even for the free AGM session

• Keep an eye on the attendee list during the meeting

This way, you can confidently protect your paid sessions while ensuring every member has the chance to take part in the AGM.
