Setting up a reminder to record a session? Set up recording for a session when scheduling?

Is there a way to have Zoom prompt me to record a session when the session starts?  I don't want to record all sessions, but I do need to have help remembering to do so when it is needed.

Is there a way to set a session to be recorded when scheduling the session?

Hi @RJL! Currently there is no option to set a reminder to record the session. What I personally do, which you may want to consider, is enabling the 'automatically record when the meeting starts' option and then stop the recording right away for those that don't need it. I hope this helps.

Thanks for that suggestion.

Can setting "automatically record" vary or must it be set for all sessions or not at all?  For example, could I leave "automatically record" off, but turn it on when scheduling a session? Or could I use with in association with a subset of sessions?

It can be enabled for all sessions or you can also turn it on when scheduling a session:
