Typing Indicator

Hi, 

 

I understand all Zoom platforms have typing indicator enabled - this means you can see in the chat when participants are typing.  We are unable to view this and wondered if anybody had any advice.

I am not familiar with this feature.  

 

There are at least two different types of Chat in Zoom. There is the in-meeting chat, and the Chat found in the home screen of the Zoom app - typically used for chat between company users.

 

I am pretty sure  typing indication does not exist within the in-meeting chat - so maybe if it exists, it is within the app chat - which I am not very familiar with.

 

Which Chat are you referring to?

Hi @Elaine3 within Zoom team chat, the typing indicator only shows between 1:1 conversations within team chat, not within team chat channels, groups, etc.
