When I send a word doc file to a channel in Chat my colleague has to save it before she can open it on her PC. She can just click and open it on her phone though. What can we do for her to be able to open the file without saving it first?
TIA

Sharing files within Zoom can be risky . While PDF and some image formats can be viewed with modern browsers. Microsoft Office formats (the most popular) are problematic. Users have to download creating a digital copy of the file to a local drive and use MS OFFICE as the viewer. If shared content contains protected privacy or company-sensitive information Zoom competitors know these InfoGov / data privacy risks enabling a secure "file-in-place Office file viewer" is needed, especially when shared content is not meant to be edited.
