Zoom Rooms and Logitech Sync - Some of your zoom devices need to be upgraded - 6.2.1

We have a number of Logitech Rooms paired together with the Zooms Rooms kit all running 6.2.1 upon starting a new meeting we are run into this prompt on the tablet and screen.

The message "Some of your zoom rooms devices need to be upgraded to join this meeting. Please contact IT for assistance" appears in your Zoom Room when trying to join a meeting.

We have already checked we are on the latest and IT have downgraded to 6.1.1 and this has not made a difference.  Help and suggestions things to try ?

We too are facing this issue out of the blue. Using logitech TAP ip controllers. Have you found a fix yet?

We have the same issue, multiple rooms all not working because (guessing) the controller tablets aren't updating properly.  Then, even the rooms where its all updated, still not working.  Support hasn't responded for over 4 hours so I'm hoping to see some fixes here

Anyone find a fix for this? We're on iPads for scheduling displays, but the same error - Yesterday I was able to update the iPad apps and that seemed to work for most of rooms, but today we've got a random rooms popping up the error.

We are having the same issue here in NZ. All rooms using 8500 or 8800 give that same message. But the room with a Logi TAP is working... If I remove the 8800 from the NUC's and switch audio to local devices that systems works. Just doesn't like the Poly Trio's

Those are really old devices. You might need to reach out for Poly.

In April 2023, Zoom released version 5.14.5 for the Zoom Rooms Android Controller application, which is the the final version supporting legacy devices (“Affected Legacy Hardware”). Zoom Rooms using Affected Legacy Hardware running the Zoom Rooms Android Controller application must switch to a supported Zoom Room Controller device (see Recommended migration options below) before Zoom Rooms Android Controller version 5.14.5 reaches end-of-life on February 1st, 2025.

We do have some support documentation regarding your specific issue:

So it appeared that it wasnt a version of the firmware as we downgraded but actually the tap scheduler lost sync and needed to be manually reprovisioned and firmware updated back onto each meeting room.
