Trying to set up Yealink CP965 as a Zoom Room Controller

Hi, I hope some can help me.

I am trying to sign in to zoom room controller that I installed on to the CP965 using a configuration file found here: https://zoom.us/client/latest/zrc.apk

When I run the app it take me to a sign in screen with options to sign in using, email, SSO, google or facebook. However I am told by our admins that I need to sign in using an activation code which they have given me. The activation code has worked on the Zoom Rooms app installed on windows micro desktop and is shows me the the room the activation code refers to. But I just can find how I use the activation code through the ZRC app on the CP965.

I have already update the firmware with the certified custom firmware found here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360001299063-Zoom-Phone-Certified-Hardware#h_746bf277-ad09-4ebc-88f5-b1f76b859b9a

Some of the support articles I found on Zoom support also suggest that you can sign in using an activation code but again I cant fine this option.

What am i doing wrong?

Warning:  Not sure if anyone experienced this, but after we were running the CP965 for about a week, I updated the Windows 10 PC that is managing the Zoom Room with Windows security patches, and after the PC restarted the mic and speakers on the CP965 did not work.  I had to follow the advice from one of the posts in this thread to uninstall the Yealink Plug-In and Room Connect software and reboot and reinstall.  It did not fix the issue, but I also noticed on the Zoom management console that there was an upgrade available for the CP965 firmware 6.3.5 (3287), that restarted the CP965 and the mic and speakers are working again. Whew!  That was an anxious day as we had several Zoom Room conferences scheduled and had to join them from an iPad until the issue was fixed.  I will be very hesitant before running any future updates that require a PC restart.

And now for the news we've all been waiting for from Zoom (just in case you haven't seen it yet)...

Don't feel too bad, a huge number of devices from all of the big partner vendors are getting axed by this announcement (except for Logitech!) - also, these will continue to work with Zoom until September 2028, so they'll get to live a decently long life if you don't refresh before then.

    Hello everyone,

I am now stuck with the issue where I cannot downgrade the CP965s to Zoom rooms. @JimHolley, I saw you had quite the success with provisioning the phones & also using the SIP as microphones. Is it possible that you can help or give me the direct links to the firmware .rom files? Yealink support is not great...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have discord as well: jadeyboi

I need help flashing the firmware to Zooms. Was this done by getting the link via Yealink, and then using a USB or Via the Web GUI? If anyone has those firmwares, please give me a direct link.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.
