On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Restrict "Automatically accept far end camera control" to zoom rooms in the same bldg or org?

I would like all my zoom rooms to be able to automatically control the cameras in other zoom rooms within my "Building" or at least my company. If I enable "Automatically accept far end camera control" it seems like any person joining a meeting could mess with the cameras.

At the time of this post, there is no way to restrict camera control of Zoom Rooms to other Zoom Rooms - 'Automatically accept far end camera control' is an all-or-nothing setting that will allow all Zoom Client users who request far-end control to receive it.

Please be sure to submit a formal feature request via your Zoom Support portal - great idea!
