Possible to generate NDI output names from "Zoom Room name" instead of logged in user name?

Is it at all possible to generate the NDI output names from a "Zoom Room name" instead of using the logged in user name? It would allow for NDI connections to pick up the correct outputs on the receiving end regardless of which user is logged in, and generally make the feature a lot easier to use when dealing with multiple rooms and NDI receivers.

    Hi Ben,

Here's the process for enabling NDI output for the Zoom Rooms:

    1. Log in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. Click on Room Management then click on Zoom Rooms.
    3. You can use the Zoom Rooms location hierarchy to enable NDI from the account, location, or room settings. For this example, click Account Settings.
    4. Click the Meeting tab and scroll down to Allow Network Device Interface (NDI®️) usage, then toggle the setting.

I think this may allow you to use the name of the Zoom Room, but I'm not completely sure as I don't have the means to test this.

Please share here if that resolved it for you!

If this does not work,  would you be interested in sharing more about this with the Zoom Product Team?

If so fill out the form here with your use case: https://www.zoom.us/feed

    Thanks,

    Micah
