Logitech RoomMate volume adjustment

Hi all,

We have a meeting room that uses a TesiraForte X 800 DSP for audio, and Logitech RoomMate including Tap IP for utilizing Zoom Rooms. All of these devices run on the latest firmware.

Fault: One day from nowhere, we're not able to adjust the volume, you still have the fader on the TapIP working and you can move volume up/down, but the actual volume stays the same. it's either 100% or 0%.

We've raised this issue with Biamp and Logitech which can't figure out why's this happening. I saw that the TesiraForte x 800 is not on the Zoom Room list. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

We downgraded the DSP back to FW4.6. That resolved the issue.

Hi dtodorovikj,

That sounds frustrating! While the TesiraForte isn't officially listed for Zoom Rooms, I've seen similar volume issues with third-party DSPs in the past. Have you tried checking Biamp's Tesira software for any conflicts with the Zoom Rooms controller settings.

Hey,

Were you able to resolve this? We are currently going through the exact same issue!

Cheers

We downgraded the DSP back to FW4.6. That resolved the issue.

I would greatly appreciate a copy of the v4.6 firmware. We're running 4.11 and the volume slider doesn't work. We have a board meeting Monday AM.  You would be our savior.

We called Tesira and we're in a support queue.  They close in 1.5hrs.

Well try this link

You're a life saver. The firmware worked and the volume control is functioning.

I'm confident our first Board meeting can happen now.

Thank you for your help. This is a huge relief.

I would like to add to this discussion, as it has helped me greatly and is literally the only useful thing I've found via Google:

I've successfully downgraded from 4.11 to 4.7.2 to fix this same issue (Logitech Roommate + TesiraForte X 400). I was unable to upload the file I had on hand on 4.6. Probably, because the Tesira software I've used was a very recent version (4.11.0.24266).

Anyways, thanks a lot!
