I've downloaded & installed the latest version of Zoom for Ubuntu (5.15.5) several times, but as soon as I try to start it, it crashes. It does this so fast that I don't get the chance to read the error message because the window disappears. I had recently upgraded to this version, the previous one worked without a problem. I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.

Same on Ubuntu 23.04 with latest updates as of 2023-08-02. Zoom quietly crashes with no apparent output.

@jlcenter -- I don't get the chance to read the error message because the window disappears.
Does your smart-phone's camera have a "slow-motion" option when recording?
Maybe, capturing a video, and then doing a slow playback will give you the time to read the message.
