How to add Zoom Interop to Google Meet Hardware on the Logitech Rally

I have a Logitech Rally Bar along with Tap IP configured for Google Meet. Some of our meetings are Zoom, and I heard that Zoom interop should be capable for free. I went into the Google Meet and configured it to allow Zoom interop. (I also added a token from my Zoom account to allow it to bypass waiting room.) I believe I am supposed to see a Zoom dropdown or I'm supposed to be able to join a meeting that has a Zoom invite and says via Zoom. I get the message "Can't connect to this meeting" "This device can't connect to Zoom video conferences". However it does say that Zoom is enabled. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I finally got a response from Logitech. It turns out that this interop is not supported as of Feb 6, 2025, but Google is supposed to add support for this device on Feb 14, but “dates may change”. This is quite disappointing as I bought this very expensive hardware for the interop. I’ll provide an update if it works then, or I’ll return the hardware and find another solution.

it would help to know if there is another way to make this combination work.

Hi @sweetstream, welcome to Zoom Community! To enable Google Meet interoperability with Zoom Rooms, you need to generate an interop token in the Zoom web portal. Sign in to the Zoom web portal, click on Account Management, then Account Settings. Under the Meeting tab, find the option to allow 3rd party conference room systems to join Zoom meetings and generate a token. Copy the token to your clipboard. Then, in the Google Admin console, navigate to Menu, then Apps, and Google Workspace. Click on Interoperability tokens, add a token, select Zoom from the dropdown menu, enter a token name, and create the token. Paste the token in the Google Meet settings to allow Google Meet hardware to bypass Zoom Meeting waiting rooms when joining. For more information, check out Zoom Interop for Google Meet. Hope this helps!

Thank you, Khat. I did do all these things but it still didn’t work. Please see my other response… turns out the combo doesn’t work on this particular device.

Hi there! This issue is finally resolved. Google did a software update in mid February that included Zoom and Webex interop. This helps a lot. I hope they add a few more features - it would be great if the HDMI cable interconnect worked to share your laptop into a meeting. But even so, the baseline interop is very helpful.
