Digital signage playlists and rooms/players

I managed digital signage using Zoom at a previous company, but it's been a few years since I've been in the platform. We use it at my current company; however, since it's been a while, I can't quite remember the ins and outs. I only have access to the Content Library in the Room Management settings, whereas I was a Zoom admin at my previous employer. 

 

We currently have ~50 playlists set up by individual player/screen. I'm wanting to create a new global playlist that includes all internal facing players/screens. My questions are:

 

  1. If I set up a new global playlist and add all the appropriate players, how does that impact the individual players? Does it cycle through the content in the global playlist, then cycle through the content in the individual screen's playlist?
  2. I don't see a way to schedule content from the playlist settings. I remember being able to schedule content to run during a specified date/time range when I used it at my previous employer (unless I'm completely misremembering it..?). Does this mean I can't schedule content and have to manually add/remove it on the specific dates it needs to run??

1.Yes.

2.Playlist is added to the default contents list.

1. When you create a playlist (in Room Management > Content Library), then you can publish it and "push" it to selected Zoom Rooms or to all ZRs that you have. It then shows up in that ZR settings, in Digital Signage tab. Cannot be manually removed from that level, but can be reordered to be played second, third etc.

 

2. You can schedule a content to play during selected day/time period. But it's done in a specific Zoom Room settings or for all ZRs.
ZR > Room Settings > Digital Signage

Since I only have access to Content Library (and not Room Settings), that means I do not have access to schedule content, correct?

Yes, that seems to be correct. I don't see any option for content scheduling from Content Library.
