Calendar Integration configuration: Meeting information placement E365

CRX_Paramount
Explorer
Explorer

As part of the E365 configuration for Calendar Integration, the following Powershell command is implemented:

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity CalendarResource -AddOrganizerToSubject $false -OrganizerInfo $true -DeleteComments $false -DeleteSubject $false -RemovePrivateProperty $false

When a Zoom Meeting is scheduled in Outlook (or even Gmail), the Meeting URL (Zoom or Teams) is included in the Comments section.

From my testing, Zoom Calendar Integration works, by adding the Zoom/Teams meeting link to the Calendar of a Zoom Room, when the Meeting URL is in the Location field in the Meeting Request.

Where/which field does the Meeting URL need to be populated in a Meeting Request in order for Zoom Calendar Integration to detect it and the Zoom/Teams meeting information added to a Zoom Rooms system:

  • The Comments section?
  • The Location field?
  • Either?
  • Both?

I appreciate any advice/information that can be given. Thanks.
