i recently purchased the basic phone service through zoom but I am not able to make any outgoing calls nor can i receive any incoming calls using the phone number zoom assigned to me. please advise on solution to this problem.

@malyndabibb28 - I am assuming you went through the initial Zoom Phone configuration in the web portal, correct? When you open your client, are you seeing the phone number you were assigned as the caller id? If not, can you select it? Are you getting any errors, or can you tell me what your user experience is when you try to call out to someone? Thanks.

in order to make outgoing calls, you need to have a zoom phone calling plan assigned to your zoom phone user extension. if not already assigned to your user extension, please assign your zoom phone calling plan to your extension.
when you call your zoom number from some other telephone service like a cell phone or landline, what do you here when the call connects? does the recording ask for your extension number?
