we have a business site that has phone numbers listed but they are not coded as a clickable link just text. our Skype for Business phone system has an addon that puts a clickable icon next to the phone number to make it clickable. is there any sort of addon for Zoom that will do the same thing? we have told the users about highlight to call but they feel that is too much to do.

I can understand how your users would be giving you push-back if they perform repetitive actions all day long.
Zoom doesn't provide browser extensions/plugins that perform that kind of service. The highlight text and and invoke keyboard shortcut is the only thing that Zoom provides at this time.
There may be some third-party browser extension/plugins out on the market.
I would suggest submitting an enhancement request at https://zoom.us/feed in the meantime and provide screenshots of what the Skype for Business add-on did to help boost your request as a competitive feature.
I hope that helps!

it is as though you didn't even read my question.

Hi Ryan,
I did read the question 🙂 I was mainly referring you to the click to dial option since you mentioned about highlighting not being an acceptable solution for your users. Have you explored this option mentioned in the pre-requisites ? This was what I understood based on what your S4B plugin would have done.

Hi Ryan,
Sorry If I misunderstood your question. I was responding to your request "our Skype for Business phone system has an addon that puts a clickable icon next to the phone number to make it clickable. "
Zoom Solution:
This guide provides you with an overview of the supported URI schemes that you can use to redirect your app users to the Zoom Phone client to make outbound calls.

that's kind of what I figured, just wanted to see if anyone had some sort of a work around for this issue as it will severely limit our employee's efficiency.

I understand. Is there a possibility of working with the company who provides the data to have them style the phone number data with the ‘tel: ‘ tag?
