Zoom wants me to confirm my emergency address every day

Paul78
Explorer
Explorer

User gets this notification every single day, despite clicking 'confirm' every day.

Running Windows with enhanced location setting on in Zoom, version 5.9.6, issue follows him on different machines. He tried clicking 'wrong' and amending it to a different address, before reverting to auto-detect, still gets asked to confirm daily.

Any ideas?

Hi @Paul78 ,

Per the image you provided, the Country of the User is Germany. Having said that, it appears that your Nomadic Emergency Services is turned on at the site where the user belongs to. Please be minded that Nomadic only works with US sites natively. If you want to use this feature outside of US/CA, then you need to assign an ELIN number to each  known locations define in your Zoom phone, this includes personal locations added by users.

In order for the users not to be prompted regularly, you need to disable Nomadic Emergency service and essentially disabling personal locations. In case needed, you can manage emergency services settings under Phone System Management>Company Info>Select the site>Emergency Services.

Cheers!
