Zoom phone - single user - need two phone numbers (licenses) for direct dial?

I am the only user of my new Zoom phone subscription. My single main company phone number is asking for the extension and I do not want that.

For direct dial, do I have to assign a second phone number to me, the only user and admin?

you can route calls coming into your main company number to your extension.  the caller will not be asked for asked for an extension.  the call will come directly to you.  please see attached screen shot.
