Zoom Phone - One User, I want one phone number and no extension

Hi! I have a small business, I'll be counseling and it's only me. I have Zoom Workplace Business Pro, and I did this because I wanted my own phone line. However, it has assigned me an extension. When I set up, I think it said I could have it as a personal line, but I guess I didn't fully understand. Is there a way to go back and change this? I do not want to buy an additional line, I just want the phone number I originally bought with no extension.

hi challison24,

i do not know any easy to go back.  your one number is probaly assigned to your auto receptionist. 

 

the easiest solution is to have your auto receptionist route incoming calls to your extension.  every user must have an extension.

 

Please go to Zoom Portal->Admin->Phone System Management->Auto Receptionist->Routing Option

Edit -> Choose Route to User-> enter your extension.  Click OK.
