Zoom Phone Business Hours

Hi All!  New to Zoom Phone.  We are moving from another cloud PBX provider to Zoom Phone and Zoom CC over the next few months.  We have right round 90 locations.  Our current provider has a nice feature where a Business Hours/Holiday schedule can be "shared" to multiple AAs (Auto Receptionists.)  Time zones are set at the AA level.  With this, we are able to have about a dozen Business Hours/Holiday schedules that are unique and can be assigned to AAs as needed.  Where this really shines is when it's time to update the Holiday dates.  As we roll to a new year, we need only update those dozen-ish schedules with the new year Holiday dates rather than having to go to each of our 90-ish AAs and update the Holiday dates there.

Is there a way to replicate this Business Hours/Holiday scenario in Zoom Phone?  Something like a "shared" Business Hours schedule?  Thanks!

hi @Mark-TK

i am not sure if this helps but you can target multiple sites with the target tab.

Manage the Target tab

Set a default target that will apply to all extensions belonging to this target.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Company Info.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Click the Settings tab.
  5. Under Hours, to the right of Default Holiday & Force Major Events Group, click Manage.
  6. Click the name of the group that you want to manage.
  7. Click the Target tab.
  8. In the top-right corner, click Add Targets, then select from the following options:
    • Add Sites: Add sites to the Target tab.
    • Add Extensions: Add users, call queues, auto receptionists, common areas, and share line groups to the Target tab.

After adding sites and/or extensions, they will appear in the Target tab. By confirming, users, Zoom Rooms, call queues, auto receptionists, common areas, and share line groups under the site(s) will automatically inherit this holiday group.

Thanks, Eliot!  Though helpful, it looks like with multiple sites, this must be done at the site level so it doesn't quite hit the solution I was hoping for.  Unless I'm missing something in your references, it looks like I'm going to have to go to every site and update the Holiday Dates.  Not the end of the world, just not nearly as easy/efficient as it is with our current system.  Appreciate you taking the time to provide me with some direction.  Thanks!

Thank you, Eliot!  I will give this is a shot.  It looks like I will need to request the feature be activated by Zoom as I don't see the options you describe displayed.  My last response was based on one of the sub-notes in the links you provided about using Multiple Sites and the Sites needing to be updated individually.  I'll follow up.  Thanks again!!!
