Zoom Calls Not Recording

Hello, 

 

I have my Zoom VOIP set to automatically record all of my calls, but when I view them in Zoom.us there are none in the Recordings tab under Phone. Plus, when I'm on calls it says that it's being automatically reocorded, but it is not saving anywhere.

 

Has anyone ever had this issue before?

Hi @TookerCallaway , 

Yes I actually have seen this before and the fix is fast and easy. It sounds like you have all the settings enabled but we're missing one last step which must be done by the Account owner or someone with admin privileges. Please have that person follow the steps 1-8 below for you. Step 6 is where you need to be added and Step 7 has your privileges. Then, place a test call and go to your Phone menu > Recording tab and your recording will appear there.

Phone user

You can share all call recordings that belong to a phone user and control whether that phone user can download or delete recordings.

Note: Phone users can only access shared call recordings using the Zoom web portal.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management then Users & Rooms.
  3. Click the name of the phone user.
  4. Click the Policy tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Automatic Call Recording or Ad Hoc Call Recording setting.
  6. Click Access Manage Member List.
  7. In the User tab, click Add User or Switch to bulk input, then specify the following to allow:
    • Access: Granted by default, members can access the user's recordings.
    • Download: Members can download the user's recordings.
    • Delete: Members can delete the user's recordings.
      Note: If a phone user is allowed to delete a recording, deleted recordings are deleted for all phone users including the owner of the recording.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) Click the Admin tab to display the admin who has access.
