I can't seem to find out how to use the zoom phone - when I dial an outgoing call, I immediately get a message that says I don't have the correct service plan. I have the Pro License, and the $15/mo Unlimited US/CA. Can someone help?

    Hi @CarolynL ,

Make sure you have a US/CA Unlimited calling plan assigned to your account. You can do that by going into Phone System Management > Click your account > Under package, click assign. >

You can now pick US/CA Unlimited calling plan.

Hope this helps. If this has answered or help find a solution to your question , please click the Accept as Solution button below so that others in the Community may benefit as well.

Zoom customer service is non existent, I've been trying to set up my phone so it dials out for days using the global unlimited (which should be renamed global very limited) every time I try to dial a number I get "sorry we cannot complete your call your service plan does not include calling this destination (this was a local call) it shouldn't be this hard for such a simple task, and it's beyond frustrating get a answer from zoom for such a simple problem I can see why your stock has taken such a dump, think I'll join the club and short it,

    Hi Carolyn,

Have you already set up your User profile for with extension and phone number under Phone System Administration on the zoom web portal?

If you have already created your user account under Phone System Administration > Users & Rooms, all you'll need to do is click the Assign button on the far right adjacent to your name and then click Assign Package.

    I hope that helps!

When I went through the purchase process earlier today, I chose a phone number from a list.  I now cannot find where that is stored, and while I am able to assign package, I am unable to save it.  I am thinking I did something wrong earlier in the process, however I am not able figure it out. Frustrating.

    hi @angry001

To be able to dial out, assign your global select plan to yourself.

Zoom portal->admin->phone system management->users & room->click on yourself as the user->profile->package->select package (global select)

In my case, I selected a regional plan for US and Canada (US/CA Unlimited Calling Plan), but you should select your plan such as global select.  This gives you a telephone number in your selected country with unlimited calling in your selected country.

There is an add-on, international calling which adds unlimited calling in 15 selected countries and regions including US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Japan.
