Hi I am desperately looking for alternatives to Skype to call from outside the USA into toll free numbers located in the USA - does Zoom have this feature? If yes, does Zoom regular account allow calls into toll free numbers? Or does only a Zoom business account allow these calls? Is it possible to call toll free numbers in other countries from outside those countries? What are the costs to call from outside the USA into toll free numbers located in the USA? If it is possible to make these calls, where are the instructions to do so? (I do not see anything on the Zoom website). Thanks.

Hello @Isa59 – The short answer is Yes. Zoom let's you dial toll-free (800/888/877 etc.) PSTN numbers—both US and international—but only through a paid Zoom Phone service. A “regular” Zoom Meetings account has no outbound‐calling feature, so it cannot place any PSTN call at all. Here are a couple of links that might be helpful:
In terms of per minute rates, if a call originates from a US mobile number outside the US going to a Toll Free number in the US then this wouldn't incur any charge (The only cost you incur is whatever your ISP or mobile carrier charges for the data connection that the VoIP session uses).
