On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Losing Audio when connecting to zoom via Android phone

When I connect to zoom using the mobile app with an Android phone (Pixel 6 Pro) all bluetooth audio is disabled and I am only able to communicate using the phone itself.

Bose sportbuds do not work, neither does vehicle audio.

Both were working previous to, and after, the zoom call.

This is a relatively new occurrence as both worked in the recent past.

Has there been a recent update?

Any information/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m expecting a similar issue. I get on a Zoom call via iOS mobile app and it doesn’t register my audio at all to where I’m forced to call in.

microphone turned on.

recent iOS on my phone.

Cellular data turned on.

just experienced this issue on 7/10/23 and unable to use cellular data to make or receive a call without having to dial into local number.
