Inbound Caller ID on Iphone

We are currently not able to see the inbound caller ID information from individuals outside of our system.  We are seeing "Wireless Caller", but do not receive the phone number or potential name for the caller.  This occurs even when we are logged into the Zoom app on our phones.

Is there any correction that can be made on our side?

hi @kweaver

Normally, you will see caller’s telephone number and name.  If the caller blocks his/her telephone number (caller-ID number), you will not see much.

Personally, I block all calls without caller-Id number because of high probability that the call is a scam.

To block calls without a caller-id number, go to account management-account settings-zoom phone-block calls without caller-id.

Unfortunately it is not a blocked number issue. We are seeing, for external callers, them come across our cell phone screens as "Wireless Caller". When I go back into the app afterwards, I can see that the phone number is listed under "Wireless Caller", but that information is not coming through when they are actually calling in.

Hi @kweaver

The fact that you can see the caller Id number in history may indicate an issue with the Zoom Workplace client for ios.

I suggest that you completely remove the ios client from your iPhone using CleanZoom.  After the Zoom Workplace ios client is completely removed, install the latest Zoom Workplace  client from the Apple app store (6.51 as of 7/25/2025).  Please see Zoom support article.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom application

I removed and replaced the workplace application from my phone. The problem still persists for me and other members of our firm.

hi @kweaver

i can see incoming caller-id number on my iphone 17 pro running ios 26.0.1 with zoom ios client 6.6.0 (28131).

what cell phone make, model, software version and zoom mobile client version are you using?

thanks,  eliot

If @kweaver is having that problem, we are having the opposite. We see their number but not their name. And you seem to indicate that you only see their number.  iphone 16 pro, ios 26.0.1, zoom 6.6.0 (28131).

This is not the solution. Zoom simply refuses to fix this issue. I have the same issue and have been given the runaround by Zoom support for three days now, always asking for more logs, more info, more screenshots. Lies. Zoom just wants to pretend they're fixing the problem without fixing it.

Zoom refuses to acknowledge this problem. I have spent three days working with them and they simply ask for more logs, more screenshots, etc. Just a waste of time because they simply don't want to dedicate their resources to fix it.
