you will follow zoom phone instructions for porting in your skype number.

please note that you must have a paid zoom phone license.  the license will include a telephone number you select.  this zoom telephone number can be set up to automatically be replaced with your skype number upon completion of the porting process.

so to port a Skype number to zoom, I need to buy a plan which includes a number and then port it?

After some studying... you have to enter the Skype number to be validated when you purchase a plan.

Zoom is useless - They promised an easy porting of my skype number and it totally failed . I followed the instruction from the sales team  and after  3 days of calling in a row to check and their assurances of trust us ,zoom does this all the time - it failed ! NO email , NO notification  - 

The sales team gave me wrong instructions and now skype number is no longer active  and therefor they are unable to port it .

 THAT WHAT YOU GET IF YOU FOLLOW ZOOMS ADVICE  !!   Then I open a tech tkt asking for help completing the form and after 23 h I receive a useless response telling me to complete the form to initiate self porting LOL  

 To sum it up I lost the ability to port the number and wasted 5 days with  engaging with ZOOM . Terrible company - make sure you do not trust or believe them get it in writing and protect yourself  !!
