Hello, now that Skype Credit is being retired I urgently need a solution with similar capabilities. I need to be able to show my caller ID when I am ringing through as my Australian SIM card number, or at least another Australian number. I am already overseas so I cannot receive a test call without paying for roaming on my phone so I want to be sure before I purchase Zoom Phone that this is how it will show up. Can anyone answer this?

As far as I know, Zoom Phone can only show as Caller ID a number that is hosted by them; if you expectation is to use Zoom Phone to call out, but showing the Caller ID of your Mobile Phone's SIM Card, I don't think Zoom Phone is the right solution.
What you can do is get a new Mobile Number, and Port your existing Mobile number to Zoom, and have the Zoom App always running on your Mobile, that way to can make/receive calls through the number you need to keep (existing SIM Card).
If you don't mind using a new number, then you can get a new Australian number and add it to your Zoom Phone. Keep your Zoom Mobile App running all the time and if you have an unlimited Data Plan, or plenty of access to a decent WiFi, you don't need to worry about paying roaming phone services.
I hope this helps.
Vinnie.

I had been using Skype to augment my cell phone since coverage at my home is bad, so I had set up Skype to show my cell number as the outgoing caller id. I haven't found anything in Zoom that would seem to allow this feature after looking through the documentation and your note appears to confirm it. Just wanted to check and verify that that feature is not supported. I don't really want a new number and when I tested the one i picked up, it seemed to come across as a Spam number, which also isn't good. Just checking to verify I can't use a number outside of Zoom as the Caller ID. Will probably mean I search for a different solution.
Thanks.
