Needing to change 40 Auto Receptionists and have already created and tested the template. When I try to apply the template, the checkbox is greyed out at Auto Receptionist. These are all (Main Auto Receptionist) for the sites.
I am the phone admin.
Also tried with account owner login.
Is there setting I need to change or go about this a different way?

you can use a template to change certain phone settings but not main auto receptionist. what settings did you want to use a template to change in auto receptionists?

I am needing to change the handling of calls outside business hours by adding an IVR to each site. All of these are site, main auto receptionists.
In hindsight, I should have created a 2nd AR for all locations.

Requirements for creating templates for phone settings
- Pro, Business, or Education account
- Account owner or admin privileges
- Zoom Phone license
Notes:
- You can't apply templates to main auto receptionists.
- Only certain settings can be specified in a template.
I can't find an actual reason why Zoom blocked admins from using templates on Main Auto Receptionists. The only reason I can think of is to safe guard admins from applying a mistake to all your main auto receptionists. Which if that is the reason, then this is dumb. Safeguarding admins from making a mistake is just an odd idea. Give me the power to do the things I need to do to do my job.

HMMM my main AR is blocked as well, I cannot even delete it.
