Adding new users

Is the email required to add a new phone user?

@ttobias it is since they still need an account on Zoom, even if they don't host meetings,, and that is done via their email address.

Thank you!  What about phones that dont have a user such as a break room or a conference room? Would those be added under common area?

Correct, they would be set up under Common Area Phones.

Note that not all common area phones use a common license.
Most of my common user licenses have the full unlimited plans.
Example. We have auto service centers.
We name the phones counter-1, counter-2, etc.
These need full license to take and make calls and be fully functional.
