On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

@manothing123-92 Usually when we see a computer running zoom with preferred specifications, we see it somewhere between 5 and 15% depending on the features being used (video on, screen share, etc.).

18% based on your system specs shouldn't be anything to worry about. However, if you are having total CPU resource issues when using Zoom, try resizing the Zoom window while in meeting, turn your video off, and/or have your participants turn theirs off if possible. Turning off video reduces the load on the CPU since it isn't working to decode/encode.

There are several reason for laptop going freeze while in Zoom call, example Audio Driver consuming higher CPU due to enhanced mode enabled in older version driver, GPU going 100% due to old driver version,  Windows error like ESENT, while screen sharing again bcoz of GPU.

In other hand i have seen Zoom consuming 34% CPU which is lot.
