I cannot utilize the virtual backgrounds on my Microsoft Surface Pro 8-13" Intel® Evo Platform Core™ i7-16GB Memory - 256GB SSD.  I have enabled the virtual backgrounds feature in Settings.

The "virtual background" feature needs to be activated first from the zoom web portal (www.zoom.us) and then from the desktop application downloaded to your device.
