video won't work when I enter a meeting I'm invited to

My Mac updated to Sonoma last night and today when I entered a Zoom meeting that I was invited to I could not get my video to turn on. I tried everything. It works when I initiate my own meeting but not when I enter into someone else's meeting.  Any ideas?

Hello,

When someone else is the host of a meeting they have the ability to allow or disallow participants to use video. Did you ask the host if video was being allowed?
