unable to rename profile

I am unable to change my default screen name in my zoom profile online. I can change the screen name in the zoom app but it always resets to the default. When I try to update my profile in the zoom website the screen has a spinning circle like it is loading but it never loads. It seems like a website malfunction. I have tried several times over. the past week and the situation is the same.

I have a free account. I am using safari on mac book pro. Most recent operating system.

Same problem and the support page is outdated. The instructions for Web don't match what I see. Changing the name in my profile does not update the name in a meeting. This support page has outdated information https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061891

I ended up deleting my free profile entirely and creating a new one with the same email. I renamed myself and that is what shows on meetings now.

Please try clearing your browser cache and then log back into the Web App. To update your display name, click 'Edit' under your Profile. Note that if you're currently in a meeting, the changes will take effect in the next one.
