there is no blur background option in my pc though virtual background works

I apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. If you are on the latest version of Zoom, it is possible that the windows device you are on does not meet the requirements:

Image only without a physical green screen

• Zoom desktop client, version 5.2.0 or higher
• Windows 7, 8, and 10 (64-bit)
• Supported processors 
  • Intel i3 
    • 2 cores or higher
    • 5th generation or higher
  • Intel i5
    • 2 cores or higher
    • 3rd generation or higher
  • Intel i7
    • 2 cores or higher
    • 3rd generation or higher
  • Intel i9 
    • 2 cores or higher
    • 3rd generation or higher
  • AMD
    • 8 logical cores
    • 3.0Ghz or higher

If your device does meet the requirements, please verify that you are logged into your Zoom desktop client with your Zoom account. I hope this helps!

I have a 2-yr-old Macbook Air (intel based) and another much older PC laptop. The blur option is available in the latter and I can't get it on the Macbook no matter what I do. I can understand what I'm missing and it's a little annoying.

have the same issue. I am on an Acer Aspire R3-131T 11.6 inch Touchscreen Notebook

Windows 10 64 bits
Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3060 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz. Is this not supported  ?
Zoom client version 5.7.7

Is there any workaround for this  ?

Ah I'm not alone! Same, other virtual background all work but I have no "blur" option! Everything is updated! 

I also have a Mac Air 2020 with 1.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i3 (seems to meet requirements) but does not have the Blur option either with the most up to date Zoom software. 

Same problem with a 2015 macbook pro, everything is updated macOs Monterey 12.0.1 and zoom 5.8.6, any solutions, please?

Im having same issue - no blur option on windows client

I am also looking for this feature in my PC because I feel much awkward to show the background of my room so just looking to hide it a little more pleasehelp me to do it.
