the record meeting was disconnected half way though the conference and now I cannot find the record

I had a meeting yesterday and recorded it on my computer. Half way though the meeting the voice says VDO record is stoped ( I did not click stop I swear), anyway right away I click start record again and now after the meeting I cannot find the first half of the record. Please I really need help on getting this first half VDO desper
