student using a touch screen

I work with students using touch screens.  I am on a desktop.  When we screen share an interactive activity, I am unable to see any action on they touch their screen.  Is there anyone who can help with this?

 I know on an iPad you can turn on Assistive Touch. Is that what you are referring to?
