recovering meeting

I see on Zoom's site that the personal data it receives includes meeting content. Does that mean if someone forgets to record a meeting that Zoom will have a backup recording or transcripts? Or is the site referring to meetings that are recorded only?

    There is digital information about who attended, times they connected and disconnected, etc.  If you have not started the recording feature (either in the Cloud or Local PC), there is no backup.  Sorry!

     

    If recordings are important to your meetings, I recommend setting the to "auto-record" when the meeting starts, so you don't forget.  Another good recommendation is to have a checklist to follow at the beginning of each meeting, include the steps that you would normally take, such as checking and setting security features,  starting recording, etc.
